The weekend highlight: Luchada Cósmica on El Hierro

From 2 to 4 October, the Luchada Cósmica brings together Canarian wrestling and other traditions with electronic music, nature, gastronomy and film. The venue is the Terrero de Lucha Ramón Méndez in La Frontera on El Hierro.

Friday 2 October

On La Gomera, the Fiestas de Octubre 2026 in honour of the Virgen de Guadalupe begin in San Sebastián de La Gomera. The programme is spread across various locations in the municipality, including the Parque de la Torre del Conde and the Auditorio de La Gomera.

In Hermigua on La Gomera, the Fiestas del Rosario continue with religious, cultural, sporting and musical activities. On La Palma, the Festival Hispanoamericano de Literatura in Los Llanos de Aridane continues its programme, with Peru as the guest country and free admission.

On El Hierro, the Luchada Cósmica starts at the Terrero de Lucha Ramón Méndez in La Frontera.

Saturday 3 October

The Festival Hispanoamericano de Literatura in Los Llanos de Aridane on La Palma enters its final day. The six-day literary event with Peru as the guest country ends on Saturday and is free to attend.

On La Gomera, both the Fiestas del Rosario in Hermigua and the Fiestas de Octubre in San Sebastián de La Gomera are under way. The Luchada Cósmica on El Hierro continues its programme.
