The weekend highlight: 20 years of blues and jazz in Corralejo

The 20th International Blues & Jazz Festival of Corralejo celebrates its anniversary from 22 to 24 October 2026 on the Avenida Nuestra Señora del Carmen in La Oliva, Fuerteventura.

At the same time, the III Encuentro Nacional del Timple on Fuerteventura brings together concerts, talks and panel discussions centred on the Canarian stringed instrument.

Friday 23 October

On Lanzarote, the Keroxen Festival Lanzarote is under way at the Auditorio Cueva de los Verdes in Haría with experimental music, electronic sounds and visual art.

Also on Lanzarote, Olga Cerpa y Mestisay play at 20:00 in the Convento de Santo Domingo in La Villa de Teguise. In Arrecife, the Velada literaria con Iván Cabrera Cartaya y Daniela Martín Hidalgo takes place at 19:00 in the Biblioteca Insular de Lanzarote.

On Fuerteventura, the Canarias Manga Festival begins on the Plaza de la Paz in Puerto del Rosario with manga, anime, video games, K-pop, cosplay and workshops. In Antigua, the event Pantallas en Red, Personas en Conexión runs from 09:00 to 14:00 at the Centro de Juventud de Antigua y CEO Antigua.

The Mercadillo de Costa Teguise opens on Friday in the Pueblo Marinero in Teguise on Lanzarote with crafts, souvenirs and gastronomic products.

Saturday 24 October

On Lanzarote, the group Caracolas performs in the Jameos del Agua in Haría. The concert draws on five years of research and the testimonies of 210 women from the archipelago, and is also presented under the title Matria.

In Tinajo on Lanzarote, the Rally de Tierra de Tinajo 2026 gets under way with a schedule running from 12:00 to 22:00. On Fuerteventura, the Canarias Manga Festival continues on the Plaza de la Paz in Puerto del Rosario, with appearances by Santiago Segura and Florentino Fernández.

The III Encuentro Nacional del Timple runs on Fuerteventura until 25 October. On Lanzarote, the Programación de octubre de la Biblioteca Insular: «Un libro abierto, un mundo por descubrir» remains active at the Biblioteca Insular de Lanzarote in Arrecife.
