On Sunday, the harbour of Santa Cruz de Tenerife is the setting for the Copa de Europa de Triatlón 2026. The elite women start at 11:30, the men at 13:30.
Friday 9 October
Friday begins on a cultural note: the new format Ópera de cerca brings two lyrical recitals with well-known arias to Candelaria and Icod de los Vinos on 7 and 10 October 2026. At the Auditorio de Tenerife in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, the Canarias Jazz Showroom opens with concerts in the Sala de Cámara and the foyer.
In San Cristóbal de La Laguna, the programme includes Festival Loba Vol. 4 at Aguere Espacio Cultural, the concert by Luis Fercán at La Bowie and a concert at Aguere Espacio Cultural.
