The law allows you to delegate your vote
The Horizontal Property Law (Article 15) establishes that every owner may be represented at the meeting by another person. The C.C. Cita Statutes (Article 26) confirm this right and provide for different forms of delegation.
If you can't attend, don't stay silent. Delegate your vote to someone you trust. A delegated vote has the same value as one cast in person.
How to delegate your vote for the 7 March assembly
The steps 1 Choose your representativeThis can be any adult: another owner, a family member, a friend, a lawyer. They don't need to be a C.C. Cita owner. What matters is that you trust them and they can attend on Saturday. 2 Fill in the delegation formThe convocation includes an official delegation form. You need to fill it in with: your name and ID number, your premises number(s), your participation coefficient, and the name of the authorised person. 3 Attach a copy of your ID or deedIf you are an individual: copy of your ID (DNI/NIE/passport). If you are a company: copy of the deed proving the signatory's authority to represent. 4 Give the document to your representativeYour representative must bring the signed document to the Hotel Catarina Playa on Saturday and present it when registering as an attendee.

Information you need for the form
Your full name and ID number (DNI/NIE/passport)Your premises number(s) (found in your deed of purchase or the convocation)Your participation coefficient (in your deed; if you don't know it, leave it blank — the administration should have it)Full name of your representative
Important: owner and representative
If both the owner and the representative attend the meeting, only one of them may speak. This is stated in the delegation form itself. If you plan to attend in person, you don't need a delegation.
So your delegation isn't rejected
Don't forget the ID
The form requires the representative to attach a copy of the owner's ID (individual) or deed (company). Without this document, the delegation may be rejected.
Don't leave the coefficient blank if you know it
The official form asks for the participation coefficient. If you know it, include it. If you don't, submit the delegation anyway — but be aware it could be used as a pretext to reject it.
Sign the document
Seems obvious, but a delegation without the owner's signature is invalid.
Your delegation is a right, not a favour
Article 15 of the LPH expressly recognises the right of every owner to be represented by another person at owners' meetings. The C.C. Cita Statutes, in Article 26, confirm this right and allow for various forms of representation.
If someone tries to reject your delegation without a valid legal reason, your representative has the right to demand that the rejection and its reason be recorded in the minutes. This matters — because an unjustified rejection of delegations can be grounds for challenging the resolutions adopted.
Every vote counts. Especially when only 17 people decided last time. Don't let others decide for you.
Your premises. Your money. Your vote.
