Why this anniversary matters

The first Granca Live Fest in 2022 lasted two days and was a gamble. Four years later the festival has grown to four days, drawn over 225,000 visitors from 50 countries, and left an economic impact of 95 million euros. The fifth anniversary takes all of that seriously.

The addition: a bonus Sunday with Maroon 5 as the headliner. Anyone with a 3-day pass gets in on Sunday for free. Single tickets for the Maroon 5 day will sell out first — that was clear from the moment the lineup was confirmed on 17 March and pre-sale started on 18 March.

Day by day

Thursday 2 July opens with Ms. Lauryn Hill. The singer is a seven-time Grammy winner and, with «The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill» (1998), one of the defining voices of her generation. Flanking her on the opening night: Dani Fernández, Murcia indie band Viva Suecia, plus Ptazeta, PlayaCoco and Toni Bob as the Canarian element.

Friday 3 July is Latin pop day. Juan Luis Guerra, the Dominican bachata pioneer and multiple Grammy winner, takes the main stage. Around him: Omar Courtz, Lola Índigo, Danny Ocean, Carlos Rivera, DJ Conjurer, Wendy Ruiz.

Saturday 4 July belongs to Spanish pop. Alejandro Sanz, one of the most important voices in Spanish songwriting since the 90s. Plus Aitana, the OT winner who now fills stadiums. Dani Martín, Grupo Frontera (Texan norteño crossover), Agua del Chorro, Dani Calero, Quique Serra.

Sunday 5 July — the anniversary bonus day — closes with Maroon 5. Adam Levine's band has «Moves Like Jagger», «Sugar», «This Love» and four US number-one albums. Local acts open: Monkey Faces, Click&Roll, Toni Bob again.

Tickets and passes

Three authorised pre-sale channels: gclivefest.es, tomaticket.es and entrees.es. The 3-day passes (Thu–Sat) include Sunday for free — for many pass holders, that already covers Maroon 5 day.

Individual day tickets are sold separately; Sunday (Maroon 5) will have the tightest allocation. If you're fixated on Maroon 5, consider the 3-day pass — it's cheaper than a full ticket price plus separate Sunday.

Getting there and where to stay

The Estadio Gran Canaria is in Siete Palmas, about a 20-minute bus ride from the city centre of Las Palmas. Lines 12, 25 and 26 from Santa Catalina run regularly. By car: there's enough parking around the stadium, but on festival days come early.

Hotels in Las Palmas are filling up for this window as early as April. La Isleta and Mesa y López are the closest neighbourhoods to the stadium with good bus links. If you stay in Maspalomas, check the last bus (Global Line 1) — the closing concert can run well past midnight.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. The promoter confirmed it at the lineup reveal on 17 March: anyone with a Thu–Sat pass gets in on Sunday at no extra cost.
Is there resale for sold-out days?
Official resale platforms are tomaticket.es and entrees.es. Third-party sites like viagogo are not endorsed by the promoter.
What can I bring?
A small bag, personal items. No glass bottles, no professional cameras, no outside drinks. Exact terms will be published before the festival on gclivefest.es.
When do concerts start?
Doors usually 6 p.m., first acts around 7 p.m., headliners between 10:30 p.m. and midnight.
Are there hotel packages?
Yes, via entrees.es and selected tour operators. Self-booking is usually more flexible if you're already on holiday.
