What happens on Saturday, 3 October?
The 30th Romería y Ofrenda starts on Saturday, 3 October 2026, at 18:00 at the Piscina Municipal, the Agüimes town hall announces. Traditional dances and music follow.

The livestock fair starts on Sunday, 4 October 2026, at 10:00 on the Paseo de La Viñuela. At the same time the Lucha del Garrote championship takes place, the Copa Cabildo de Gran Canaria.
In the afternoon the 30th Encuentro en el Casco runs at several places in the old town. Announced are a rapid-painting contest, the traditional guessing of a cheese's weight by eye and an exhibition of the carts that took part in the romería.
There are also a pet show, a tasting of homemade desserts, performances by the Banda Municipal de Música and the group Achamán, a children's play park and a battle of flowers.
The finale is the comedy show Otto Stragman by the Compañía Abubukaka in the Carpa del Teatro Auditorio.

On Friday, 9 October 2026, at 20:30, the Noche de Guateque by the Parranda Susa Suárez begins on the Plaza del Rosario. According to the town hall, it is inspired by the music and aesthetics of the 1970s and 1980s.
