The allocation of up to 50 fair stands was made in order of application until all places were filled. Traders had to be registered in the relevant economic activity category of the Impuesto de Actividades Económicas (IAE, business tax) and have a shop on La Gomera open to the public.

Food businesses had to show a valid health registration and be registered as self-employed. All participants had to be up to date with their tax and social security obligations.

How much does a visit cost and what is still open?

The Cabildo's announcement names no admission fee; whether entry is free remains open. It also gives no discount amounts or shop price lists.

What does the fair mean for La Gomera?

The president of the Cabildo, Casimiro Curbelo, described Exposaldo as “a tool to bring La Gomera's commerce closer to the public”. The fair is intended to give shops visibility, activity and new sales opportunities.

The island councillor for tourism, trade and consumer affairs, María Isabel Méndez, said the combination of shopping, music, children's activities, sustainability and fashion creates a more attractive space for families. The participation of around 30 shops shows the interest of the island's business community.
