The 10K is certified by the Real Federación Española de Atletismo (RFEA). The route runs through central parts of the city, including Las Canteras, the port area, Mesa y López and the surroundings of the Arsenal, according to the organisers.

The organisers are the Ayuntamiento de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, the Instituto Municipal de Deportes (IMD) and DG Eventos S.L. The main sponsor is Binter. Institutional support comes from the Cabildo de Gran Canaria and Turismo Islas Canarias.

How much does it cost to take part and when does registration close?

For the 5K and 10K, a place costs 20 euros when registering until 25 October 2026 at 23:59. After that, the price rises to 25 euros; registration ends on 3 November 2026 at 14:00, unless places sell out earlier.

The Milla Verde Familiar costs 5 euros with a silver race number and 10 euros with a gold race number. Both options can be purchased until registration closes. The Milla supports social projects, according to the organisers.

Registration opened on 20 April 2026 at 14:00.

The same published registration and pricing rules apply to residents, foreign nationals and visitors. No special rule for foreign nationals, additional fee or free participation for visitors is mentioned.

Where and when do I collect my race number?

The 7 Palmas shopping centre is in the north of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. From the tourist centres in the south such as Maspalomas or Playa del Inglés, it can be reached via the GC-1.

Which routes and times apply to the races?

Only the 20:00 start of the 5K was confirmed (RockTheSport); 19:15 and 21:00 were not verified.

The 10-kilometre route is certified by the Real Federación Española de Atletismo. It runs through central parts of the city, including Las Canteras, the port area, Mesa y López and the surroundings of the Arsenal.

According to the organisers, the event is accessible to people with different physical abilities. The routes are fully walkable and wheelchair accessible.

What does the race mean for traffic in Las Palmas?

The sources confirm the urban route, but the available information does not mention any specific road closures, diversions, parking bans or time windows. Such measures therefore remain open.

Specific information from the city council or traffic authorities is still awaited. Visitors from the south should allow extra time for the journey on race day.

The next fixed date is 25 October 2026 for the cheaper 5K/10K rate. Online registration ends on 3 November 2026 at 14:00, followed by race number collection and the race on 7 November 2026.

Why is the race also interesting for tourists?

The route passes along Playa de Las Canteras, which makes the run attractive for visitors as well. The official website also lists Murcia in the series, so the list of previous venues may be incomplete.
