When and where does Julio Iglesias Jr. perform?

Julio Iglesias Jr. plays on Tuesday 8 December 2026 at 19:00 and on Wednesday 9 December at 20:00. The organiser’s page speaks of several performances and lists these two dates.

The venue is the Sala Sinfónica (symphonic hall) of the Auditorio Alfredo Kraus, at Avda. Príncipe de Asturias s/n, postcode 35010. The concert is in the city of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, not in Maspalomas or Playa del Inglés.

Doors open 45 minutes before the start, so at 18:15 on 8 December and at 19:15 on 9 December. According to the Auditorio, the show runs for about 90 minutes without an interval.

What can the audience expect on the two evenings?

The Auditorio says Julio Iglesias Jr. is performing in this venue for the first time. He sings the great classics of his father, Julio Iglesias, backed by a big band.

The programme is called Julio Iglesias Experience and is a tribute, not a concert by the father. The Auditorio promises a lavish staging full of energy, elegance and emotion.

The show is touring Spain. Published tour dates announce a performance at FIBES in Seville on 11 December 2026, and further stops are Alicante, A Coruña, Valladolid, Albacete, Zaragoza and Tarragona.

How much are tickets and where can you buy them?

The Auditorio has not published a ticket price for Las Palmas on its event page. The available information does not say whether the two evenings are sold out.

A buy button on the event page leads straight to the venue’s ticket system. For a safe purchase, book there or at the Auditorio box office.

Resale platforms state this themselves. Third parties set the prices there.

The organiser has not named any age limits, seating rules or accessibility details. There is also no information on getting there or on parking.

What is Gran Canaria 365?

Gran Canaria 365 runs in its second edition from 22 to 29 November 2026. DG Eventos created the initiative, and Turismo de Gran Canaria supports it through the Tri Bike & Run programme.

According to the organisers, the aim is to make the island known as a place for cycling and training on 365 days a year. A press trip with international media is planned for the same week.

The first ambassador team consists of Afonso Eulálio (Bahrain Victorious), Cian Uijtdebroeks (Movistar Team), Mathias Vacek (Lidl-Trek) and Maxim Van Gils (Red Bull-BORA-hansgrohe). Turismo de Gran Canaria has announced more names, but the documents contain no final list.

In the first edition, Tadej Pogacar took part, according to the Cabildo de Gran Canaria (the island government). Whether he returns in 2026 is not confirmed.

What is happening in Arucas on 29 November?

On Sunday 29 November 2026, all the ambassadors ride in the Gran Fondo Pico de las Nieves – Ciclismo a Fondo. The start is in Arucas, and hundreds of amateur riders join them.

The announcement gives no details on registration. It names neither the route nor the entry fee.

Road closures and traffic measures for the week have not been published yet. Anyone driving on island roads on 29 November should check the official website beforehand.

The Gran Canaria 365 project page names the Faro de Maspalomas (Maspalomas lighthouse) as the setting for the official photo at the start of the week. Whether that happens again in 2026 is not confirmed, and no daily programme is available.

What should visitors bear in mind until December?

The tourism agenda of the Cabildo de Gran Canaria lists a Gran Canaria Bike Week from 22 November to 6 December 2026. Whether it is part of Gran Canaria 365 is not confirmed.

For the concert on 8 or 9 December, it pays to buy tickets early through the Auditorio ticket system. Plan to arrive for doors at 18:15 or 19:15 respectively.

Ticket price, availability and travel details remain open. The Auditorio had published nothing on them as of our research on 8 November.
