El Paso Rock and Blues Festival 2026: Four Days of Rock, Blues and Classic Cars on La Palma
Late August turns the streets of El Paso on La Palma into one big open-air stage: the 9th El Paso Rock and Blues Festival brings four days of rockabilly, blues and plenty of good cheer to the heart of town from 27 to 30 August 2026.

Woven into the Fiestas de Nuestra Señora del Pino, the whole thing happens right out on the street – from Thursday’s Sesión de Inauguración to Sunday’s Car Show Session with classic cars. Here is the line-up, day by day.
What, when and where: the festival at a glance
The El Paso Rock and Blues Festival reaches its 9th edition in 2026 and runs from Thursday 27 to Sunday 30 August. It all unfolds in the middle of El Paso, mainly along calle Manuel Taño and Avenida Islas Canarias. As part of the Fiestas de Nuestra Señora del Pino, the concerts take place outdoors in the street – an open town party you can simply stroll into.
Thursday and Friday: the opening
Things kick off on Thursday 27 August at 20:00 with the Sesión de Inauguración at Bar Central (calle Manuel Taño): Hi Men Killers warm up the crowd, with DJs Franky Frank and Sra. Pimienta on the decks. On Friday 28 August, from 20:00, comes the Rock and Roll After Work, outdoors on calle Manuel Taño in front of CreaLab – featuring Hot Bopins (Gran Canaria), Colly & The Firecrackers (Düsseldorf) and Klaus Wild Cat (from Genoa, based in the islands). DJ sets come from Franky Frank and Calamity Jane.
Saturday 29 August: the Wild Weekend Session
The weekend’s highlight starts on Saturday at 19:30: the Wild Weekend Session features Trafallos de Luxe, Manicomio del Sur and Bifidos (all from La Palma), plus Huevo from Tenerife and The Bo Derek’s from Galicia, led by Óscar Avendaño, a former member of Siniestro Total. DJs Franky Frank, DCM Selectora and Moni Loff then take over. The venue is not re-stated for Saturday; it is presumably still calle Manuel Taño.
Sunday 30 August: Car Show Session
To close, Sunday’s Car Show Session takes over Avenida Islas Canarias in front of the town hall (Ayuntamiento). At a gathering of classic vehicles, the Club de Automóviles Antiguos de El Paso celebrates its 40th anniversary. Tihuya Cats and DJ Franky Frank provide the musical send-off.

The El Paso Rock and Blues Festival is an open-air street party: you wander from stage to stage, with the concerts right in the centre of town. El Paso sits in the west of La Palma and is easy to reach by car.
