When and where does Rob Mazurek play on Lanzarote?
Rob Mazurek plays the auditorium of the Cueva de los Verdes in the municipality of Haría on Friday 6 November 2026. The concert is part of KRXN LZT, the new Lanzarote spin-off of the Keroxen festival of experimental music.
A concert in a lava tube is unusual, and Masscultura says places are “strictly limited”. The CACT (Centros de Arte, Cultura y Turismo), which belongs to the Cabildo (island government), runs the Cueva de los Verdes in the north of the island.
The sources we checked give no street address. They also say nothing about buses, parking or a shuttle from the south.
If you are travelling from the resorts in the south, sort out your journey in advance. The easiest way is to ask the CACT, which runs the cave.
How much does entry cost and how do you get tickets?
The CACT sells tickets in its online shop at ventaonline.cactlanzarote.com. The centre answers questions by email at info@centrosturisticos.com or on +34 928 84 84 84.
What the evening costs and when it starts is still open, because the CACT, Cooltura Lanzarote and Masscultura pages give neither a start time nor a price. We do not use figures from any site we cannot verify.
Masscultura advises buying early because capacity is limited. If you decide only on the day, check the shop first to see whether seats remain.
No source says whether the audience will sit or stand. The same goes for access for people with reduced mobility, so ask the CACT.
Who is Rob Mazurek?
Rob Mazurek is a cornetist, composer and multimedia artist from Chicago. According to the CACT, his work moves between avant-garde jazz, electronic music, improvisation and visual art.
He shares a history with Keroxen: in 2023 he was artist in residence at the festival on Tenerife. That produced the album “Nestor's Nest”, recorded around El Tanque and at the home of organisers Nestor and Pura, according to Discrepant and keroxen.com.
The album came out in 2025 on the Keroxen label, as a digital release for 7 euros and on vinyl for 16 euros, keroxen.com says. Discrepant adds that Mazurek is also a co-founder of the Exploding Star Orchestra.
What is KRXN LZT and what else is on in Haría?
KRXN LZT is the biggest novelty of the 18th Keroxen, RTVC reported on 4 September 2026. Four evenings of experimental music take place in the Cueva de los Verdes.
Los Sara Fontán + Pura Márquez played on 22 October and Waq Waq Kingdom + Kalma on 23 October. Those two evenings are over.
After Mazurek, Lagoss + Simone Marin play the same venue on 7 November. If you plan a whole weekend in the north, you can combine both evenings, but prices are not confirmed.
CACT Lanzarote says Haría has two Cabildo venues shaped by César Manrique: Jameos del Agua and the Cueva de los Verdes. The Festival de Música Visual de Lanzarote also uses both, according to festivalesdeespana.com.
How big is Keroxen and what comes next?
The 18th edition runs from September to November 2026 with more than 30 acts from 15 countries, RTVC says. The festival was founded in 2009 in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
The main programme ran at the Espacio Cultural El Tanque in Santa Cruz de Tenerife on 10 to 12 September and on 10 October. It also included 3 October in Bajamar and an extension to London with Café OTO and the label Discrepant.
Keroxen has been to Lanzarote before, from 4 to 6 May 2017 at the CIC El Almacén in Arrecife. La Voz de Lanzarote called it the series' first visit to the island at the time.
The Lanzarote edition is being made with the CACT, which chose Keroxen for its cultural projects in 2026 and 2027, according to Cooltura Lanzarote. Who pays the costs has not been published, and there is no press release from the Cabildo or the Haría council.
