When and where is the flamenco show?

The flamenco show “Ballet Español – Flamenco Pasión” is on in Puerto de la Cruz on Wednesday 11 November 2026. It runs at the Sala Teatro Timanfaya, Calle Las Damas 1, a converted former cinema.

Sellers say Wednesday shows normally start at 20:30. The listing gave neither a time nor a price for 11 November itself, so check the time before you buy.

Reports on the running time disagree. One seller says 1 hour 30 minutes, another 60 minutes, so plan for up to an hour and a half.

Puerto de la Cruz is on the north coast of Tenerife, so visitors from the south face a trip. We found no reliable details on travel, buses or parking.

What does the evening cost and how do you get tickets?

Prices run from 25 to 30 euros, depending on the sales platform. One platform lists “from 27 euros” and another 30 euros, and we could not confirm an official box-office price.

Visitors show their ticket on a smartphone at the entrance. According to the seller, food and drink are not included in the price.

The seller Pool de Excursiones offers free cancellation or rebooking up to 24 hours before the show, according to its listing. That limits the risk for anyone in the south planning a long drive.

The management is in the hands of Eva María Rodríguez López. Beyond her name, we have no details.

What about the Bach Fest from 12 to 15 November?

The events calendar of the Ayuntamiento de Puerto de la Cruz lists the Bach Fest for 12 to 15 November 2026. It is meant to commemorate Johann Sebastian Bach, but the calendar warns that dates can change.

We found no programme, venues, times or ticket prices for 2026. It is also unclear whether entry is free.

No link to flamenco is documented. The available details do not confirm a flamenco show on several evenings from 11 to 15 November.

Puerto de la Cruz has had a Bach festival since 2013, and the early editions ran in December and January. Whether today’s Bach Fest is the same event remains unclear.

Who organised the earlier Bach festival?

The earlier festival was run by the Asociación Cultural Reyes Bartlet, the Centro de Iniciativas Turísticas and the Ayuntamiento, with support from the Cabildo de Tenerife (the island government). The festival archive names Mark Peters and Jordi Casas as artistic directors.

Concerts took place in the Iglesia de la Peña de Francia, the Anglican Church, the Teatro Timanfaya and the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo Eduardo Westerdahl. The archive ends with the third edition, from 4 December 2015 to 10 January 2016.

It is not confirmed that the same organisers stand behind today’s event. The details also do not say whether the Bach Fest is an official Ayuntamiento programme or a private event.

Is there flamenco on other evenings?

For Wednesdays, the events calendar lists four November dates: the 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th. Only 11 November falls between 11 and 15 November.

One alternative is the Casa Ábaco, an 18th-century house in the town centre. The seller advertises live flamenco from 20:00, with doors opening 30 minutes earlier, from about 29 to 30 euros.

We found no specific November dates at the Casa Ábaco. Its evening shows are undated.

One listing also mentions a flamenco ballet from 11 November to 23 December. We could not verify that claim.

What should visitors check before travelling?

Before you buy, look at the Teatro Timanfaya box office and the Ayuntamiento events calendar. They should show the time, price and running time for 11 November.

Trust the address printed on your ticket, because sellers give the address differently. If you are staying in the south, plan your journey home after the show in advance.

For the Bach Fest, wait for word from the Ayuntamiento or the Asociación Cultural Reyes Bartlet. Until then, it is open whether and where concerts take place.
