What can visitors expect at Guapatini's Showbar?
Contessa Guapatini hosts the evening, a stage character played by the entertainer Paul Burnham. The show mixes singing, comedy and drag, all in English.
The organiser promises humour that is “cheeky but never crude”. It pitches the night for birthdays, hen parties and anniversaries, and says drinks are brought to your table.
The organiser describes Burnham as an experienced performer from London's West End. We could not verify that claim independently.
Where and when does the show take place?
The stage is on the ground floor of the Centro Atlántico on Avenida de las Playas in Puerto del Carmen, opposite Betty Boops Karaoke. The venue's website gives the address as Av. de las Playas, 24, 35510 Tías.
Puerto del Carmen belongs to the municipality of Tías. Avenida de las Playas is the resort's main seafront promenade, lined with bars and entertainment venues, and travel guides say it is an easy walk from the hotels.
Doors open at 20:00 and the performance starts at 21:00. There is no official advice on getting there in the evening.
Which days does the show run?
The current text, dated 4 November 2026, lists Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. Older reports from the first quarter of 2026 mentioned only Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
A text from 2 April 2026 listed Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. No official body confirms whether the schedule has changed.
Check the calendar on guapatini.com before you book. You can also send an enquiry through the website.
What does entry cost, and who pays less?
Adults pay €20 and children up to 14 pay €15. The venue takes cards only, including at the bar.
For residents, the current text gives €13.50 with ID, for a maximum of four tickets. Earlier reports quoted €16.50, described as a 15% discount.
The sums do not add up, because 15% off €20 would be €17. Residents should ask the organiser to confirm their price before booking.
How do you book, and what is still unclear?
Tickets are sold online at guapatini.com, and the site also links to the Bookeo booking system. The organiser stresses that shows fill up fast, but it gives no capacity figure.
The venue advertises top rankings on TripAdvisor. Those claims come from its own promotion and have not been checked.
No special November or Christmas show is known, and there is no end date for the current programme. Further along the same street, the Music Hall Tavern in the CC La Peñita runs another drag dinner show, as a separate business.
