Is the evening worth it for visitors in the south?

The event starts on Friday 6 November at 20:00 and runs until 23:45, according to the published programme. It takes place on Plaza de San Francisco in the old town of Santa Cruz de La Palma, the island capital.

This is not a tourist programme, as it describes a nostalgic evening of music. Anyone living or holidaying in the south need not change their plans because of it.

Admission costs nothing, according to the programme. If you are in the capital anyway, you can drop in on the spur of the moment.

The programme gives no details on getting there, parking, road closures or bus links. Nor do the available details say how far the journey is from each holiday resort.

Who plays on 6 November?

The experienced group Tenessee is on the evening’s bill. The announcement says nothing about the band’s background.

Parranda La Palma performs the show “Re-volviendo”, which recalls classic music from past decades. The programme also announces live DJs but does not name them.

The programme files the evening under festivals and music. It gives no running order and no exact times for the individual acts.

What is behind “Nos vemos en la plaza”?

The title belongs to an open-air concert series run by the Ayuntamiento (town council) of Santa Cruz de La Palma. At earlier editions, the Concejalía de Fiestas (festivals department) under councillor Raico Arrocha looked after it.

The series aims to bring the town’s public squares to life with music, and the concerts are considered suitable for families. It ran during the May festivals and in autumn.

On 21 September 2024, tribute bands to Rosendo, Queen and Maná played on Plaza de San Francisco, and admission was free. The culture department of the Cabildo (island government) of La Palma supported that evening, and Pablo Cobiella appeared for it.

On 16 May 2025, Ni 1 pelo de tonto, Orquesta Tropicana’s and DJ T3nax played on Plaza de Santo Domingo in Santa Cruz de La Palma, according to the announcement. That announcement named no price.

What is still open for 6 November?

The programme does not say who is organising the evening on 6 November. Earlier editions suggest the town council is behind it, but that is not confirmed for this evening.

Our research found no second confirmation from the council’s events agenda or from the Cabildo. There are also no details on noise rules, barriers, parking or a plan for rain.

Those who want to be sure have one option. They can check the council’s social media channels on the day of the event.

What else is on in Santa Cruz de La Palma?

On 6 November, the workshop “Frutales ecológicos ¿por qué no?” takes place from 16:00 to 20:00 at the Palacio de Salazar. According to the agenda of the ULL university, it belongs to the “Universidad de Otoño de La Palma 2026”.

On 13 November, Las Ninyas del Corro play at the Espacio Cultural CajaCanarias. Tickets start at 5 euros, according to the published listing.

The La Palma Music Run Night is announced for 14 November. The available details do not say where it takes place.

These dates have no connection to the concert on Plaza de San Francisco. No further dates for the “Nos vemos en la plaza” series have been published.
