Are there still tickets for El viaje de Cóclea?

No. According to the event page of the Auditorio de Tenerife, all performances of “El viaje de Cóclea” are sold out, so anyone who starts planning now will find no free seats.

The venue is in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, the island capital, not in one of the southern resorts. Anyone travelling up from the south should only set off with a confirmed ticket.

The Auditorio has not said whether there is a waiting list or returns. The surest way to find out is to ask directly, by phone on 902 317 327 or at the box office.

In the 2025/26 season the box office opened Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 17:00 and on Saturday from 10:00 to 14:00. Check beforehand whether those hours still apply in November 2026.

What awaits children and babies in the Sala de Cámara?

Small children are already active concertgoers today, not just the “audience of tomorrow”, the event page stresses. The Sinfónica de Tenerife calls “El viaje de Cóclea” an immersive music experience, held in the Sala de Cámara of the Auditorio de Tenerife.

On Saturday 21 November 2026 the show is meant for children aged 3 and over. On Sunday 22 November 2026 it is the turn of babies aged 0 to 3.

The event page lists two shows a day, at 10:30 and 12:30. Another source gave a different pattern, Saturday at 10:30 and Sunday at 12:30, so families should check the times on the Auditorio page.

The Auditorio has not published a price, running time, cast or musical programme. The events calendar of the Cabildo de Tenerife (the island government) did not show the entry on 5 November 2026 either.

What rules apply to families in the hall?

A child under 4 who sits on a lap needs no ticket, the Auditorio says. Only children who take their own seat need one.

Pushchairs are not allowed in the hall. Families should bring a sling or another solution.

For the Sunday baby shows the Auditorio asks for proof of age, such as an ID card or the libro de familia (the Spanish family record book). No more than 2 adults may accompany each baby.

Tickets for Sunday went through the box office or by email. The other tickets were sold at auditoriodetenerife.com, at the box office or on 902 317 327.

Are sold-out family concerts usual at the Sinfónica?

They are not new. In November 2023 both Saturday family performances were already sold out, when the school concert series opened with “El circo de Don Nicanor”, a show that drew 1,591 schoolchildren.

The season review from July 2026 reports about 65,000 visitors at more than 90 events in 2025/26. That is 11% or around 6,600 people more than in 2024/25.

According to the review, the subscription and family concerts drew about 27,200 people, 15% more. Three concerts sold out and four more passed 90% occupancy.

Around 8,300 schoolchildren attended educational concerts, and 16,450 people came to special events. The number of subscribers rose by 38%.

How do you get there and what is still unclear?

The Sinfónica de Tenerife is an orchestra of the Cabildo de Tenerife and plays at the Auditorio, Avenida Constitución 1. No separate travel advice exists for these dates.

For other concerts there was a free “Lanzadera Sinfónica”, a shuttle run with the bus company Titsa. Whether it runs on 21 and 22 November is not confirmed.

The Auditorio generally offers discounts for students, jobseekers and large families. None is known for these shows, and the Auditorio has named no price.

Anyone left without a seat can browse the Sinfónica programme on the Auditorio website. It also lists “Cuatro cuerdas y pico”, a concert for babies and families, and “Coro Canguro” for adults with babies, though their dates have not been checked.
