Which events are on in Tenerife in November 2026?
November on Tenerife belongs to San Andrés, from 28 to 30 November. The festivities run from the tablas in La Guancha and the fiestas in the San Andrés district of Santa Cruz to the Fiesta del Cacharro in Puerto de la Cruz.
The details come from event listings and the Webtenerife tourism portal. No official overall agenda from the Cabildo (island government) or the town councils had appeared by Saturday 7 November 2026.
Every date in this guide therefore holds only as far as its source states it. Where a date is unconfirmed, the text says so.
La Ganzúa's agenda lists three concerts: Pedro Pastor on Saturday 21 November, Céro on Sunday 22 November and Sergio Dalma on Saturday 28 November. The page shows only a selection, not a full agenda.
It refers readers to the ticket platforms for confirmation. It gave no ticket prices.
In the 2026 calendar, 28 November is a Saturday, 29 is a Sunday and 30 is a Monday. One source assigns the weekdays differently, so anyone travelling for a particular evening should check the day with the organiser.
What happens at San Andrés in La Guancha and Santa Cruz?
In La Guancha, participants slide down the steep Doctor Fleming and La Palmita streets on wooden boards (tablas) from 28 to 30 November 2026. Entry is free, and the official website lists the tablas as confirmed (page dated 8 September 2026).
The highlight is the Vinos, Tapas y Tablas evening, with live music, wine and tapas, from 19:00 on 29 November. The page contradicts itself on weekdays, giving Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 November.
In the 2026 calendar, however, 29 November is a Sunday and 30 November a Monday. Anyone wanting the live-music evening should confirm the exact day with the Ayuntamiento (town hall) of La Guancha.
According to the official website, the Fiestas de San Andrés y Santa Lucía in the San Andrés district of Santa Cruz run from 21 November to 13 December 2026, with free entry. Tablas take place on the eve, 29 November.
The main feast day is Monday 30 November, with Mass, a procession, fireworks at the muellito (the small pier) and dancing on Plaza Isidoro Torres. Santa Lucía follows on 13 December.
Parts of the San Andrés programme page come from the 2025 programme. It also says that OAFAR and the neighbourhood association had not yet confirmed the 2026 programme.
The page header still shows the status confirmed. Individual items and times should therefore be treated as provisional.
How do the Fiesta del Cacharro, the Icod tablas and the new wine work?
At the Fiesta del Cacharro y la Castañada in Puerto de la Cruz, participants drag tins and cans tied to wire through the streets. The procession ends at Plaza del Charco, and the fiesta traditionally falls on 29 November, according to the Webtenerife tourism portal.
The page names no year, and no programme with times for 2026 was available. As 29 November 2026 is a Sunday, the date is a deduction, not a published programme.
On Plaza del Charco, Webtenerife lists roast chestnuts, gofio bread, sweet potatoes and Tenerife wines. It does not give the history or origin of the custom.
In Icod de los Vinos, participants slide down the steep Calle del Plano on wooden boards while new wine is opened, says Webtenerife. The only Icod dates found are 29 and 30 November 2024, so no 2026 date is confirmed and visitors should ask the Ayuntamiento.
A directory entry lists San Andrés in Arafo from 28 November to 1 December 2026.
For La Caleta de Interián in Garachico, the official website gives 28 to 30 November with free admission. Here too, only the listing is known.
The bodegas traditionally open their new wine on 29 November. San Andrés is regarded as the patron saint of wine cellars, though this has not been checked against a primary source.
Which concerts and festivals are on in Tenerife in November 2026?
Pedro Pastor plays in Santa Cruz on Saturday 21 November 2026, though La Ganzúa had not yet named the venue. Céro performs on Sunday 22 November at the Aguere Espacio Cultural in La Laguna.
The agenda gave no prices or on-sale date. According to the page, tickets are available through the official ticket platforms.
Sergio Dalma sings on Saturday 28 November at the Pabellón de Deportes de Tenerife Santiago Martín. The concert falls at the start of the San Andrés weekend.
The sources disagree on the location: La Ganzúa says Santa Cruz, while Hello Canary Islands says La Laguna.
According to Diario de Avisos, the Festival Internacional 6Cuerdas Tenerife, a guitar festival, is listed for 13 and 14 November 2026 in Santa Cruz. Hello Canary Islands is the events portal of Turismo de Canarias.
That portal lists the Media Maratón Santa Cruz de Tenerife, the Volcano Festivities in Guía de Isora and the Villa de La Orotava Short Film Festival with the month of November 2026 only, without days.
One listing calls the Paseo Romero de Lomo de Montijo in El Escobonal (Güímar) a free romería (pilgrimage festival) in mid-November. It gives 15 November 2026, which has not been verified.
Club nights at Papagayo in Playa de las Américas are listed for 20 and 21 November, also unconfirmed. No 2026 dates exist for the Christmas lights, though in 2025 it was Santa Cruz's turn on 20 November, according to Canarian Weekly.
What applies to trips to Teide National Park in November?
The Cabildo de Tenerife has taken over full management of Teide National Park. According to Canarian Weekly, the transfer appeared in the BOC (Canary Islands official gazette), probably on 7 January 2026, though the date is not clear.
The Cabildo takes on 31 posts, 8 properties and 22 vehicles, at a cost of more than 7 million euros a year, says Canarian Weekly. The plan for use and management (PRUG) was approved in December 2025.
The Cabildo may charge fees for certain trails and limit private vehicles by time. According to Canarian Weekly, as of January, neither a total ban on private cars nor a general entry fee was planned.
For non-residents, the ADAC (9 October 2025) and Canarian Weekly (January 2026) give these fees. Trail 10 to the Telesforo Bravo summit costs 15 euros without a guide or 10 euros with one, with a maximum of 300 people a day.
On trail 7, Montaña Blanca–Rambleta, they pay 6 euros on weekdays and 10 euros at weekends and on public holidays. Residents of Tenerife and children under 14 are exempt.
Both articles are announcements. Whether the fees apply now is unconfirmed, and one listing even claims the park is free in 2026.
The summit permit is available through the official website and, according to one note, not on the same day on site. The cable car costs 42 euros for adults and 21 euros for children, according to one listing, and does not include the permit.
A driving ban from 09:00 to 13:00 with parking reservation was also planned. That too is unconfirmed.
How do you plan a November visit, and what is still open?
No 2026 dates were available for Fimucité, the Tenerife Blues Festival and the Tenerife Walking Festival. Whether they take place in November therefore cannot be said.
Dates for switching on the 2026 Christmas lights are also missing. Anyone looking for these events should check the organisers' and Ayuntamientos' websites.
Town programmes are often settled only in the last weeks before a festival. San Andrés shows this, as one programme page contains parts from 2025.
For La Guancha, San Andrés and La Caleta de Interián, the official website gives free entry, so you need no ticket. Buy concert tickets, such as for Sergio Dalma, through the official ticket platforms.
Official AEMET climate figures (AEMET is the state weather agency) for November were not available for this guide, so it gives no temperatures. Current values and warnings are at CITA weather (cita.news/de/wetter.html) and AEMET.
At outdoor fiestas on streets and squares, the weather on the day decides. The next fixed date is the 6Cuerdas festival on 13 and 14 November in Santa Cruz.
The concerts on 21, 22 and 28 November follow, then the San Andrés weekend from 28 to 30 November. All details apply as of Saturday 7 November 2026.
