When, where and at what price does the evening take place?
The concert begins on Thursday 5 November 2026 at 20:00. It takes place in the multipurpose hall, known in Spanish as the “Hall”, of Teatro El Sauzal.
The address is Calle Constitución 3, 38360 El Sauzal, right next to the Ayuntamiento (town council). For questions, the council gives the phone number 922 149 756.
Entry costs 8 euros, a flat rate, as the council states on its events page. The price includes a glass of wine and a tapa, which is a small bite to eat.
Which dances and music can you see at “Jazz & Dance III”?
The evening is called “Jazz & Dance III” and runs for about 70 minutes, according to the programme. The council rates it as suitable for all audiences.
Three styles from different eras are on show: Charleston, Lindy Hop and tap dance. The programme text says Charleston thrives on energetic leg and arm movements.
In Lindy Hop, the focus is on energy and the interplay of the dance couples, who improvise and perform acrobatics. In tap dance, the rhythms come from the beat of shoes on the floor.
Who is on stage?
Four performers carry the evening: Jep Meléndez, Bára Hrebackova, Joshua Hilberman and Kike Perdomo. Meléndez works as a body percussionist, tap dancer, choreographer and teacher, and trained in Barcelona and New York.
Bára Hrebackova is a dancer, choreographer and teacher of tap and solo jazz, and lives in Belgium. She began her training in Prague.
Joshua Hilberman also lives in Belgium and works as a dancer, choreographer and tap teacher. The programme text says he studied with Brenda Bufalino, Joe Stirling and Paul Draper, among others.
The saxophonist and composer Kike Perdomo won a scholarship to the Berklee School of Music in 1989. Today he teaches at the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Canarias.
What should visitors know before travelling to El Sauzal?
Latecomers stay outside: the programme text says the theatre lets nobody into the hall once the show has begun. Anyone coming from the south of Tenerife should therefore arrive well before 20:00.
The information available does not say where or how to buy tickets. The size of the hall, and whether the night could sell out, also remain unknown.
The council gives no travel advice, and the TITSA bus services were not checked. The hall stands in the town centre next to the town hall, but parking is not confirmed.

What is “Jazz in the Hall” and what comes next?
“Jazz in the Hall” is a recurring jazz series at Teatro El Sauzal, the municipal theatre in the north of Tenerife, according to Diario de Avisos. The paper reported three concerts at 20:00 in the first quarter of 2025, on 16 January, 13 February and 13 March.
Most of the performers came from the Canary Islands, including Carlos Meneses, the guitarist Rubén Luis and Kike Perdomo. The article gave no prices.
The events site hellocanaryislands.com lists further nights, such as “Latin Monk” on 3 April 2025 and “Heavy Weather” on 7 May 2026. That points to roughly one concert a month, but it does not confirm an official schedule.
Whether “Jazz & Dance III” follows earlier editions is not documented. Dates after 5 November are not confirmed.
