What happens on 3 November at El Grifo?

Bodegas El Grifo opens Semana Malvasía on Tuesday, 3 November 2026, with “Vinos & Vinilos”. During the guided tasting, each wine is paired with music from vinyl records.

The Consejo Regulador de la Denominación de Origen Vinos de Lanzarote describes it as a journey in which music and wine enter into dialogue. Guests are expected to discover new nuances and enjoy the wine differently than usual.

What other dates are there?

On Wednesday, 4 November, the artist Rufina Santana leads a workshop at the Lanzarote Art Center in San Bartolomé. Participants paint with wine and take home their own work.

On Thursday, 5 November, things become playful at Restaurante El Baifo: at “VINOmios (Im)perfectos”, two initially unnamed wines accompany each dish. Guests decide which wine suits each plate better.

On Friday, 6 November, “Origen, Territorio y Vino” celebrates its premiere. The event brings together wines and regional products from Lanzarote and La Palma.

The closing event on Sunday, 8 November, is a route through the La Geria wine landscape. It visits Bodegas La Geria, Stratvs and Rubicón, marking International Wine Tourism Day.

What is on offer throughout the week?

According to La Voz de Lanzarote, Restaurante Nakai in Playa Honda offers a menu with wine pairing called “ConVinados” throughout Semana Malvasía.

The “ConVinados” experience at Restaurante Nakai in Playa Honda is available only with a reservation, according to La Voz de Lanzarote.

This allows guests to explore Lanzarote cuisine and wines beyond the fixed programme dates. The organisers see it as a complement to the main programme.
