What rights apply in the Canary Islands?

According to the BOE, it guarantees free self-determination of gender identity and equal treatment in employment, education, health, services and housing.

Ley 2/2021 repealed the earlier Ley 8/2014 of 28 October 2014. That law had guaranteed trans people comprehensive care through the Canarian administrations, but it is no longer in force.

According to the BOE, it guarantees the real and effective equality of lesbian, gay, trans, bisexual and intersex people and their families.
