Where and from when can you buy the tickets?
From Friday 6 November 2026, the Santa Cruz de Tenerife chamber of commerce sells tickets for the 11th Feria Gastrosolidaria. The Cámara Oficial de Comercio, Industria, Servicios y Navegación de Santa Cruz de Tenerife organises the fair, and the Cabildo insular (island government) supports it.
Two stalls run by the cancer charity AECC (Asociación Española Contra el Cáncer) hand out the tickets. One stands on the Plaza del Ayuntamiento in Los Llanos de Aridane, the other at the Pérgola on Calle Real in Santa Cruz de La Palma.
The Cámara names no other sales points. Its announcement also does not say whether tickets will be sold online or by phone.
The stalls' opening hours and the end of advance sales have not been published. To be sure, call the Cámara's head office in Santa Cruz de Tenerife on 922 100 400.
What do you get for 20 euros?
A ticket costs 20 euros and does not cover drinks. You swap it for two tapas worth 10 euros each at any taking-part restaurant.
Each restaurant sets its own hours for accepting tickets. If you want to eat on a particular day, check the venue's opening times first.
There is no list of taking-part restaurants yet, and the announcement only mentions participating restaurants. The Cámara has also not said whether tickets expire before 22 November.
The Cámara wants the fair to promote regional produce and local cooking. The ticket pays for the tapas, and guests pay extra for drinks.
Where does the money go?
According to the Cámara, 60% of all takings go to care and support for people with cancer on La Palma. The remaining 40% goes to the taking-part restaurants to cover the cost of the tapas.
Last year's split was different. At the 10th fair, from 12 to 26 November 2025, 80% went to the AECC office on La Palma, according to the organisers. The restaurants received 20%, and the ticket also cost 20 euros without drinks.
The restaurants' share has therefore doubled, from 20% to 40%. The announcement gives no reason for the change.
How much earlier fairs raised has not been published. Nor has the number of restaurants taking part in 2025 and 2026.
How has the fair changed since the early days?
The 3rd fair took place on Saturday 13 October 2018, from 11:00 to 17:00, on the Plaza de España in Los Llanos de Aridane. Tapas and drinks cost 1.50 euros each, and the Cámara's La Palma office and the Los Llanos Ayuntamiento (town council) organised it with the AECC.
At the 7th fair on Friday 4 November 2022, from 12:30 to 15:30, Santa Cruz de La Palma joined as a second host. On the Plazas de España in both towns, 400 menus from eleven restaurants and professionals sold for 20 euros.
Today the fair runs for two weeks in restaurants, not for one day on a square. The organisers have not said why the format changed, though in 2018 they wanted to establish the fair for good.
The Cámara of Santa Cruz de Tenerife now organises it, through its La Palma office. The Cabildo insular supports the fair.
What is still open, and what comes next?
The list of participants, the stalls' opening hours and the end of advance sales are all still open. There is also no word on whether tickets stay valid until 22 November.
Advance sales start on 6 November, and the fair runs from 9 to 22 November 2026.
Anyone on La Palma in those two weeks can eat tapas with a ticket and support people with cancer on the island at the same time. According to the Cámara, the money helps families on La Palma who live with the illness.
