Where and until when is Calle Las Dunas closed?
The municipality of San Bartolomé de Tirajana bans parking and through traffic on Calle Las Dunas in its bando of 17 September 2026 from Thursday, 1 October 2026, 06:00, until Monday, 5 October 2026, 06:00. That is exactly four days.
The stretch affected lies between the roundabout at Avenida 8 de Marzo and the roundabout where the Red Cross post at C.C. Anexo II stands. Authorised vehicles and safety and emergency services are exempt.
Mayor Marco Aurelio Pérez Sánchez signed the bando. According to the text, the Policía Local may change road-closure times as needed. Residents and visitors are asked to park their vehicles in other streets.
When does the music end, and when does everything stop?
The bando requires the music to end at 02:00 on Friday, 2 October, and Saturday, 3 October 2026. All activity must be over by 02:30.
That matches the municipality's programme details: on Friday Tourifest runs from 18:00 to 02:00, on Saturday from 14:00 to 02:00. In the bando the municipality expressly asks residents for active cooperation and for compliance with the instructions of the Policía Local.
What does Tourifest offer on Friday and Saturday?
The IV Maspalomas Tourifest is part of the municipality's World Tourism Day programme and reaches its fourth edition this year. The venue is the Anexo II in Playa del Inglés.
On Friday, 2 October 2026, DJ Toni Bob, Salvapantalla, DJ Ulises, Daniel Calero, Calle Boogaloo and DJ Ardy play from 18:00 to 02:00.
On Saturday, 3 October 2026, the programme starts at 14:00 with workshops. Announced are DJ Ruyman Melián, the tribute band La Suerte de Mi Vida (El Canto del Loco), El Vega Life, a drone show, Yet Garbey, fireworks and DJ Iván Monagas.

The Orquesta Sinfónica de Las Palmas presents «Paradise Sinfónico: una experiencia Coldplay» on Saturday, 3 October 2026, at the Plaza del Faro de Maspalomas. Maspalomas Plus describes the concert as an encounter between symphonic music and the universe of the British band.
The Auditorio Alfredo Kraus in Las Palmas named this line-up for the programme on 18 July 2026: Isaac Villafranca (vocals, piano), Carlos Batista (guitar), César Figueroa (bass) and Luis Auyanet (drums), plus the orchestra. The municipality has not published a line-up for the Faro performance.
